Leicester Accelerator

Leicester Accelerator is a business support project designed to help businesses across the city to sustain, grow and innovate, with an additional focus on decarbonisation. The project supports businesses at all stages of development.

The project is led by East Midlands Chamber and funded through Leicester City Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) allocation. The project runs until 31 March 2026.

What support can I access?

  • 1-2-1 advice, mentoring and diagnostic support on a range of areas relevant to your business. In addition to this, tailored support will be offered to businesses looking to invest in research and development.
  • Net Zero Accelerator: events, training, and consultancy to help businesses gain green business skills and plan their journey towards carbon neutrality and net zero.
  • Digital Accelerator: workshops, specialist support and bespoke consultancy to help businesses enhance their digital use and/or implement new processes with a specific focus on manufacturing businesses to support them to switch to advanced and automated technology.

At the core of the service are the specialists who will provide tailored support to businesses to help identify and address the business’s specific requirements.

Support includes:

  • Bespoke strategic workshops and consultancy delivered through a network of digital and technology specialists.
  • Decarbonisation Plan support and access to an online platform to showcase the real time environmental impact of their business.
