You’re invited to the Green Entrepreneurs Fund celebration event.
Derbyshire County Council have pioneered The Green Entrepreneurs Fund, a unique local authority-funded £2 million grant fund for businesses interested in developing and investing in green energy and carbon reduction schemes, and individuals looking to retrain in the field of alternative energy. The programme was open to organisations and individuals based in Derbyshire.
Overview
Over the last three years, this Fund has supported a significant number of businesses and organisations on their journey towards net zero as well as supporting individuals via the scholarship fund to retrain with skills to enable them to enter the field of alternative energy.
This celebration recognises the innovation in Derbyshire businesses, stimulated by the Green Entrepreneurs Fund.
The event will include networking and exhibitions and a tour of Masson Mills, the northern gateway to the UNESCO Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.
