Toyota has developed a carbon neutral strategy delivering accelerated cost and CO2 reduction. This exclusive workshop is FREE to attend (normally valued at £600 per person) and provides a rare opportunity to experience a practical demonstration and shop floor observation with Toyota Energy Specialists. It also includes an overview of their strategic approach to decarbonisation and energy cost management.
The workshop aims to show how to demonstrate decarbonisation and competitiveness.

Overview
On the day you will observe energy improvement challenges and solutions in a manufacturing environment and real life energy reduction demonstration through a tour and observation of the Burnaston plant.

This workshop is aimed at senior representatives from your organisation (one per organisation) and:
• Businesses looking to embed strategies to reduce their energy usage
• Open to all SMEs* (less than 250 full time employees)
• Have a specific interest in reducing energy usage and moving towards net zero
• *Those businesses based in Accelerator eligible areas: which include Leicester City, Derby City, Derbyshire (excluding Bolsover and Erewash) or Nottinghamshire (excluding Nottingham City)

What outcomes can you expect from joining us:
• Experience a practical demonstration and shop floor observation with Toyota Energy Specialists, providing knowledge exchange to apply in your own business.

Eligibility: Workshops are open to start-up and established small to medium sized enterprises located in the following local authority areas taking part in the East Midlands Chamber's Accelerator project: Amber Valley; Ashfield; Bassetlaw; Broxtowe; Chesterfield; Derby; Derbyshire Dales; Erewash; Gedling; High Peak; Leicester City; Mansfield; Newark & Sherwood; North East Derbyshire; Nottingham; Rushcliffe; South Derbyshire.

The Accelerator project delivers online webinars and full-day workshops. The webinars are designed as one-hour taster sessions and the workshops as full-day training sessions which are designed to provide delegates with an actionable plan and strategy. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and is delivered by East Midlands Chamber.
