Description
Through a range of keynote speakers, workshops and panel discussions the 2025 Conference will focus on the key areas that will enable economic growth, through the targeting skills reform, improved recruitment and retention, and how to develop sustainable interventions that support better business engagement with educators.

We will then explore East Midlands business approach to equality, diversity and inclusion, this will focus on research undertaken by the Chamber and emh Group, which took place in 2024 following a similar study the year before. We will be exploring the recommendations from the report as to how we support businesses in their EDI journey, creating more inclusive and successful workplaces, businesses and those that support them.
Overview
Set against a backdrop of data, taken from our Quarterly Economic Survey highlighting that employer’s post-budget expectations will mean a re-envisioning of their employment strategies, the day will bring together speakers, panellists and workshop content that will provide delegates with practical takeaways to improve productivity gains and develop your people, skills and EDI strategies.
