Published 10 times per year, East Midlands Chamber’s highly-respected flagship magazine is at the heart of issues affecting businesses in the region across a wide range of features and news.

With a print run of 5,000 and an estimated readership of more than 15,000, in addition to an online version read by a growing audience, it is a strong platform for showcasing our members and informing them on the latest trends affecting SMEs.

The magazine features a wide range of content for East Midlands businesses.

It includes the latest news from Chamber members, thought leadership and advice features from experts within our network, policy and business support updates from the Chamber and our partners, and case studies from business support programmes.

Each issue comprises an exclusive big interview with a business leader, a focus feature related to the edition’s theme, business support features, and regular sections for politics, international trade and sustainable business.

Advertising

Business Network is published by Chamber member Kemps, which manages the advertising and sales aspect of the magazine.
Editorial prerogative for the magazine rests with the Chamber but is published on behalf of the Chamber by Kemps, which sets the advertising rates.

Advertising does cost but Chamber members can benefit from a 15% discount off advertising costs. Competitive advertising rates ensure that even the smallest of firms can afford to promote their products and services, using advertisements or inserts.

THEMES IN 2024

Editorial themes relate to several key features, including the big interview and focus feature

Members may wish to use these as inspiration for articles. We will use these across various sections such as member news, appointments, Sustainable East Midlands, and our business support pages for digital & technology, legal, finance, skills and information.

Submitting content

Editorial coverage is free for Chamber members but please note submission of news items does not guarantee publication. Submissions should be of interest to a predominantly business audience and include a clear news topic or provide educational value.

Please send press releases as Word documents or within the body copy of an email, and include high-resolution images (1MB file sizes).

Deadlines are the beginning of the month prior to publication (eg 1 March for April edition) but we may decide to use articles in another issue.

We have produced a set of contribution guidelines to help members with submitting press releases and thought leadership articles, which you can find below.
