AI is a powerful technology with many applications that can save huge amounts of time, but it also has the potential to cause big problems if used badly for SEO. This webinar demonstrates several AI tools to help with SEO, along with the considerations and processes to ensure the way you use AI doesn’t negatively affect your rankings.

This webinar shows you how to use AI productively and avoid the pitfalls, from generating content ideas to writing large amounts of text and implementing technical features in your website. It explores ways to use commonly-used AI tools and provides examples of how they can make SEO tasks quicker and easier.

This webinar is aimed at anyone responsible for SEO for a website or content writing/optimisation. No technical knowledge is required and the information is applicable to any type of website or business.

• What is AI: What we mean by AI in the context of search engines and content creation, including Large Language Models and how these are used by search engines.

• How search engines treat AI-generated content: Why it is not automatically “bad” and what signals search engines are looking for.

• Using AI writing tools: How they differ, which features are valuable and whether they’re worth paying for.

• Prompt writing: The best ways to prompt AI tools to generate ideas and content that you can use on your website.

• Uses of AI for SEO: Beyond simply writing text for you, other ways AI tools can undertake SEO tasks and make life easier.

• Custom GPTs: Examples of custom GPTs (formerly plugins) that add functionality and data to enhance your SEO efforts.

Workshops are open to start-up and established small to medium sized enterprises located in the following local authority areas taking part in the East Midlands Chamber's Accelerator project:

Amber Valley; Ashfield; Bassetlaw; Broxtowe; Chesterfield; Derby; Derbyshire Dales; Erewash; Gedling; High Peak; Leicester City; Mansfield; Newark & Sherwood; North East Derbyshire; Nottingham; Rushcliffe; South Derbyshire.

(Please note: Businesses based in districts not participating in the Accelerator project (i.e. Bolsover; Leicestershire) may attend providing they are members of East Midlands Chamber. In such instances, please contact the Events and Engagement Officer who will approve your booking.)

The Accelerator project delivers online webinars and full-day workshops. The webinars are designed as one-hour taster sessions and the workshops as full-day training sessions which are designed to provide delegates with an actionable plan and strategy.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and is delivered by East Midlands Chamber.
