Description
Join us for a private roundtable event being held in partnership with the British Chambers of Commerce and Amazon. The event, taking place on 28 February 2:30 – 4:30pm will explore the challenges of using e-commerce to trade internationally, how you can overcome those challenges and exploit the opportunities.
Overview
Are you a business owner unsure of what the exact tax, legal and customs requirements are for exporting?
Are you aware of the support that the Department for International Trade can provide, including 1:1 advisors and grants?
With rules changing by country and in some cases by indivudal areas, it can be hard to navigate through the everchanging landscape. This roundtable discussion will bring a group of business owners and subject matter experts to discuss:
• Sharing reflections and experience of the benefits and barriers to exporting via e-commerce.
• Improvement opportunities within government for exporting via e-commerce (e.g. tax, customs, finance).
• Highlighting the skills and knowledge gaps that limit a business's ability to export via e-commerce.
• Investigating where businesses obtain advice and information on exporting via e-commerce.
This will be a moderated discussion from which we hope to share insights into the e-commerce export landscape with guidance and practical advice for businesses in our region.
